Our project, in collaboration with the Egyptology and Coptology section at the Centre for Near Eastern Studies of the Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana, organised the 15th Lavrin’s Egyptological Evening. Mag. Miran Pflaum from the National Museum of Slovenia lectured on “The Heritage of (Ancient) Egypt in the National Museum of Slovenia”.

Sven Mörsdorf (European University Institute, Florence) gave a lecture titled “Diplomats, Officials, Antiquities Collectors: Consuls from the Territory of Present-Day Slovenia in the Service of the Habsburg Foreign Ministry in the 19th Century.”
